Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially driven Tanzanian CEO to lead the overall strategic direction, operations, and growth of a growing logistics and transportation company. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Develop and execute the company's strategic and business growth plans 🔹 Provide overall leadership across logistics, transport, fleet, commercial, finance, and operations 🔹 Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency 🔹 Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders 🔹 Oversee fleet performance, utilization, maintenance, and operational efficiency 🔹 Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market presence 🔹 Develop and implement strategies for business and regional expansion 🔹 Monitor financial performance, budgets, KPIs, and overall company profitability 🔹 Ensure compliance with Tanzanian transport, labour, tax, safety, and regulatory requirements 🔹 Build and lead a strong management team and promote a culture of accountability and performance 🔹 Report business performance and strategic developments to the Board/Shareholders Requirements ✅ Tanzanian National ✅ Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field ✅ MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage ✅ Minimum 10 years of senior management experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain ✅ Proven experience leading a logistics or transport company / large fleet operation ✅ Strong commercial, financial, and operational management skills ✅ Proven track record of business growth and profitability ✅ Strong understanding of the Tanzanian logistics and transport market ✅ Excellent leadership, negotiation, strategic planning, and decision-making skills ✅ Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills ✅ Ability to lead a growing organization and deliver measurable results 🎯 The ideal candidate must be a strategic and hands-on leader with strong knowledge of the Tanzanian logistics market and a proven ability to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. 🏢 Industry: Logistics & Transportation 🇹🇿 Nationality: Tanzanian Nationals Only 📩 Interested candidates should send their updated CV to: recruitment@360hrsolution.co.tz
